How to Select the Right Wedding Dress for Your Body Shape

By Michelle O’Connor There are millions of wedding dresses from which to choose. How do you choose the dress that will fit your unique body shape best? The first step in finding the right dress for you is to determine what body shape you have. This is your special day, and your dress should fit your body style perfectly. Here are some tips that will help you in your quest to find the perfect dress. Hourglass Figure For women that have an hourglass shape, a strapless or off-the-shoulder gown is just right. When shopping for a strapless gown, lean towards the one-piece gowns instead of two-piece gowns. A two-piece gown can result in a choppy look, splitting you into to figures. Bias-cut and straight designs are not best for hourglass figures. They will usually pull the eye to areas of the body that you want to minimize. These types of dresses are better suited for tall women. The bride with an hourglass shape will want to accentuate her curves. Avoid heavily beaded dresses that can tend to make the bride appear heavier. Pear-Shaped Figure A woman with a pear shaped figure has smaller shoulders and upper body than lower body. A pear shaped bride should wear shoulder pads or puffy sleeves. This bride should avoid any type of body hugging gown, full skirts, or cuts that make the upper body appear even smaller or the lower body larger. Short and Petite Figure There are many options for the short and petite figure. Shoestring straps and off-the-shoulder gowns will work the best. A Cinderella gown will look beautiful and will add a touch of romance. Straight gowns tend to not look as nice on a short and petite figure. If you have already fallen in love with a straight wedding gown, offset it with a full veil. Wearing the right designer wedding shoes can also add height if a petite bride would like to appear taller. Keep in mind, however, that you may not want to be in high heels all night. Switching shoes will affect the way your dress hits the floor, keep that in mind when selecting your gown. Square Figure The ideal gown for a bride with a square shape will create curves, or, create the illusion of curves. The neckline of the dress should be beaded. Alternatively, the upper part of the bodice should be beaded. Bigger skirts and sleeves are also ways to add curves. The square figured bride should avoid sheath or clingy dresses that contribute nothing to creating the illusion of curves. More Dress Hunting Tips Finding the perfect gown can be frustrating if you do not know what you are looking for or what type of gown will work best for your unique body shape. Never give in and settle for a dress just because you are tired of looking. There are millions of dresses out there and one of them is the perfect one for you. If you have found three or four dresses that you like certain aspects or designs of, consider having your wedding gown made for you. This way, you will be 100% satisfied with the dress and feel great! A custom made wedding dress is truly a family heirloom. Be sure to do your research at local gown stores and try on as many dresses as you like. Eventually you will begin to see a trend in the type of dresses that you like. Remember that you will be in the gown all day, during the ceremony and through the reception, dancing, greeting guests, etc. Make sure that you are comfortable and feel beautiful in your gown. This is the most important factor of buying the dress. Do not buy a dress because you think everyone else will like it. This is your day and it is all about you. Remember that when selecting your gown. Article By Michelle O’Connor, Discount Wedding Dresses Designer Wedding Shoes Wedding Packages May reproduce only if credit links remain intact. Chinese Medicine: Five Spirits that Relate to Your Health and Wellbeing

By Gudni Einarsson The Five Shen in Chinese Medicine. These are not so easy too explain. Shen or spirits are not everybodys cup of tea. Since I am talking about tea, lets continue on that theme. Tea is an herb with certain qualities. These qualities act on our body. Of course the most obvious one is caffeine. So what does caffeine do? It helps to keep away predators like bugs. It is a defence mechanism. So how in earth did this humble plant think of this defence of complicated molecules called caffeine. Well beats me, except if we allow ourselves to imagine a primordial intelligences or basic smartness of staying alive and develop, through a law of cause and effect. These intelligences work with us, but it is our responsibility through choices to stay on the course, so these energies and qualities can serve us through maintenance of balance in our body, minds and soul. Everything is energy. This fact has been demonstrated in western science and they are just beginning to understand it. In the Hindu scriptures they talk about there is energy in everything. They call it prana. So in the metaphysical world, this has always been known and the healing methods are based on to help these energies so they can do their work without hindrance. Do the atoms possess intelligence? That is what Thomas Edison was saying. All energy has intellect. But then again this is all theory. Heart-Shen Shen the main one, which reside in the Heart, is responsible for sleep, memory, thinking and consciousness. It is in control of the other spirits. If the Shen is disturbed then all these factors are not going to work in harmony. There will be too much sleep or too little. Memory will be bad. Thinking would be clouded or dull and there might even be loss of consciousness. So you can say it is the brain, in material terms. According to the Chinese philosophy then the brain is directly build with the essence from the Kidneys. The heart and the Kidneys are connected through the vertical axis. The axis between heaven and earth. So clear pathway between heaven and earth is imperative for balance. Emotional stress affects the Heart and therefore the Kidneys and its essence. Likewise if the essence are injured then the Heart will suffer and therefore the mind. All emotions affect the Heart, but for example anger affects the Liver in particular, since anger is related to the Liver. Liver-Hun Hun is the name for what in the west would be called soul. Hun has connection to the Liver and it is interesting to note that the Liver controls the eyes and often we say that the soul is reflected in the eyes. Funny how our instinct tells us what is going on. If Liver blood is deficient than the Hun or the soul has problem to anchor itself in the body. In terms of relationship of the Shen with the Hun then we can say that when Hun coming and going is normal than the mind is stable. If it is going too much then there is mania. If it is going too little the there is depression. Hun is the creative one. It has the capacity for ideas, inspiration, vision an so forth. It is the drive towards something greater and welcomes challenges of life. If this capability is over driven then there is more chaos than focus. Therefore this can be indication of what we call depression. Lungs-Po Po belongs to the Lungs. It is called in western terms the corporeal soul. Po has the role of survival. The lungs keeps us alive thorough breathing. If we stop breathing we die rather quickly. As well it helps us to desire and enjoy, like food, sex and gather materials. This is all for basic survival. Maybe we can say that since sadness and grief is the emotions of the Lungs than we loose this way of survival. Po would be affected by these emotions and we find us to be less motivated to eat, wash ourselves and gather in terms of wages for work and so on. Po is in charge of all physiological processes and it has strong connection to the essences. Blood for example is carrier of oxygen through the Lungs. Oxygen is catalyst for many effects in the body processes. Now we get again to the connection with the blood. Po is as well responsible for feelings and sensations, which helps us to identify with the world. So Po is all about physical. It is possible to say that it cooperates with Hun and helps it to have connection with the physical. After death Hun survives but the Po dissolves after some time. Spleen-Yi The spirit of the Spleen is Yi. That stands for intelligent. It has to do with concentration, focusing, memorizing, applied thinking and generating ideas. So it has to do with studying. If the spleen is weak then ability to study would suffer. Likewise if there is too much study or concentration in work then the spleen will suffer. Dull thinking and lack of concentration is spleen weakness. This is not to say that spleen would be the only organ involved. The heart and kidneys play a role of memory and ability to think. Heart has to do with long term memory about events in the past. The kidneys help wit the memory of recent events. Old people are more in connection with memories from the past, but are often forgetful about the present. This is due too the kidneys becoming weaker with old age and therefore recent events are easily forgotten. Kidneys-Zhi The Kidneys houses the Zhi. This has do with will power. It s the pursuing of an aim or goal. If the will is strong it will provide focus. If it is weak it will be harder to stay on the track and you might be more easily discouraged. There is aspect of motivation, so you can say that there is this element of so called depression. The Zhi also has to do with recall of memory or storing. 3 Simple Overlooked Steps To 6 pack Abs

By Rob Pilger Step. 1 Why all the 30,50, 75 reps of abs crunches per, reverse crunches, or oblique crunches per set? I bet your back hurts from performing that many reps doesn’t it? Try training your abdominals using loaded reps of 12, 15, and even 20 reps. You see, the abdominal muscles are predominantly phasic(fast twitch) muscles. They respond better to loaded reps. Try using 2-3 sets of the above reps, and feel what happens to your abdominals. You should literally feel them tighten up. Provided though, that you follow steps 2 and 3. Step. 2 Don’t over train your abdominals. Again, what would your triceps feel and look like if you trained them everyday? Your abdominals then are no different. One day you can train lower abs. Ex. Hanging Leg Raises.(Provided your lower abdominals are coordinated and firing right. This is a topic for another article) Another day you can train your obliques. Ex. Cable Wd Chops. Then on the 3rd day you can train your upper abdominals. Ex. Swiss Ball Db Crunch. Training your abs this way will allow each section to recover and develop into a sheath of rock hard muscle! Provided though that you follow step 3. Step.3 Perform interval training to burn more fat that surrounds your midsection. Since there is no such thing as spot reduction, interval training is a sure way to burn the fat that surrounds your midsection. Your metabolic rate will be increased for several hours after interval training to. Why wouldn’t you want this? Talk about efficient training! Talk about those abs starting to appear again! Think of interval training as the chisel the sculptor(us) uses to give the sculpture(our body) the defining look of excellence. You are probably saying, what the heck are you talking about?! It’s true though. Look at interval training as that. The tool to give you the polished, ripped, set of 6 pack abs you seek. Corporate Identity Branding Agency - Do You Need One

By Henry Dylan Do you know how people look at your organization? Let us take a quick brain-storm. Whenever we think of an organization, the image (believe it or not we read images and not words) that comes to our mind first, is rarely that of the dedicated band of selected people behind its success. Normally when you do not know about the organization you have nothing but a black or blank image about that. In other cases you can see some images related to that. In most of the cases these images not necessarily have any direct or even indirect relationship with that organization. Lets consider an example: There in the next paragraph you are going to find a hyper linked company name (dont click on the link unless you have finished reading the following paragraph). As soon as you read the name try to categorise what the name suggests to you. Do you see any image? If yes, try to visualize and realise it to the full. Organization: Blaze Communications (http://www.blazecommunication.com/pages.php3) (hope that you are not fully aware of this company). What do you see? Try to figure it out as far as possible! Try to identify whatever you can, regarding this company. It is better if you can put it down in black and white. Now click on to the link and compare your own creation (the image in your mind) with the reality. What do you see? This is exactly what happens when someone is thinking about your organization, unless you provide them an image, a corporate identity, a platform from where you can dictate the way people should look at you. Creating a brand image is never that easy and needs professional craftsmanship and who else can know it better but a branding agency. Branding does not simply stand for the dazzling yet simple look of your office space or the high-end advertisements through which you are trying to communicate with your target audience. It also depends on how efficiently you handle all the minute details starting from your website to the brochure design or corporate literature designfor marketing communication. Even, you must rethink before selecting company representatives and sending them to field, as they themselves are the company face to the general people they interact with. It is a complete project, an Integrated Marketing Communications that needs to be professionally managed and sustained for a long time to gain far reaching benefits. Every company is unique in this way or the other and thus needs uniqueness in self presentation. It needs an integrated agency to look after the complete project. Do you know the time when you need to brush up your corporate identity for a better performance? Henry Dylan is an integrated marketing communication specialist with years of field experience. 5 Myths About Brochures That Can Cost You Dearly

By Shirley Hanson Business brochures can be a valuable marketing asset when you launch a new business, introduce a new product or service, or decide to propel your business to a new level. The right brochure can provide a profitable payoff for business owners as well as professionals such as financial advisors, attorneys, and consultants. Unfortunately, though, most brochures don’t work. They end up on the shelf trapping dust, and you become another “Brochure Victim.” The solution to unlocking big results from your brochure…even on a modest budget…is to recognize these 5 common brochure myths. Then, you are ready to sidestep the traps that can ambush your results. Brochure Myth #1 - My Graphic Designer or Printer Can Provide All I Need To Make My Brochure Pay Off Your graphic designer and printer are good at what they do. Their expertise, though, is not in the marketing that can spark a profitable campaign. All too often marketing savvy is absent from a brochure. If marketing is an afterthought, then you’ve lost the chance to gain a big payoff from your brochure. Brochure Myth #2 - Design Is The Starting Point And Everything Else Follows The secret is that graphics, layout, and design are NOT the prime ingredients in your brochure. Simply, they are the means to the end. Consider this: Design alone cannot rocket your brochure forward to your desired outcome. If you ignore, underestimate, or overlook the other elements vital for success, your brochure will let you down. There is an exception: When you are selling a service that depends heavily on design, you want to give it prominence. Even then, it is vital to call on marketing basics to get results. Brochure Myth #3 My Logo And Company Name Should Be The First Things People See What should catch your reader’s eye first? The answer is whatever surprises, disturbs, or astonishes your readers into paying attention to your brochure. That becomes your headline. No, the name of your company, your logo, or empty phrases such as “From Concept To Reality” or “Integrity, Quality, And Service” dont count as headlines. One idea for a high-energy headline is a benefit that speaks to your prospects’ deep-rooted fears or intense desires. Its not unusual for copywriters to coin dozens (even hundreds) of ideas before they discover the right one. A smart headline can contribute as much as 90 percent to the power of an ad, article, or sales letter. Your brochure is no exception. Brochure Myth #4 The Next Step Can Be Left To My Readers Imagination When you rely on your reader’s resourcefulness about what to do next, you’ve overlooked one of the most critical elements of your brochure. And that is your offer. What do you want them to do next? Visit your business? Contact you for a complimentary consultation? Ask for a checklist or white paper? Put all the ingenuity, innovation, and insight you can muster into a riveting offer. That’s how you will entice your readers to take that next step. Brochure Myth #5 Ill Find Multiple Uses For A Generic Brochure Theres much more to a brochure than the satisfaction of simply having one…or the fun of showing off a glitzy work of art to your family and friends. No one deliberately sets out to sabotage their brochure’s success. You are, though, undermining its outcome if you don’t make three essential decisions first. And those required decisions are: - Exactly who am I speaking to? - What do I want them to do? - How can I persuade them to do it? Your brochure can serve you well when everything dovetails to convey a strong message to your selected audience. Thats a far cry from a one-size-tries-to-please-all brochure! It Comes Down To This Creating a brochure that really works draws on: 1) how much on target you are with your marketing strategy and. 2) how smart you are about putting all the right stuff into your brochure. Simply, you can have an out-of-the-ordinary brochure by not being taken in by myths and illusions. What is Workers’ Compensation Fraud

By Leon Pena What is Fraud Fraud occurs when a person knowingly or intentionally conceals, misrepresents, and makes a false statement to either deny or obtain workers’ compensation benefits or insurance coverage, or otherwise profit from the deceit. The key to conviction is proving in court that the misrepresentation or concealment occurred knowingly or intentionally. Premium fraud and benefit fraud are the most common types of workers compensation fraud. Premium fraud is usually committed by an employer who misrepresents the amount of payroll or classification of employees, or who attempts to avoid a higher insurance risk modifier by transferring employees to a new business entity rated as a lower risk category. Benefit fraud is usually committed by: a worker who works full time at an unreported job and draws benefits when he or she is supposed to be unable to work, or when a worker fakes an injury; a health care provider or attorney who assists the worker in fraudulent schemes, participates in double billing or bills for services not provided. An insurance carrier commits fraud if documents are intentionally falsified in order to deprive benefits. Fraud Indicators Fraud indicators do not mean fraud has occurred, but they may require a closer review of the claim or application. Employer fraud indicators include but are not limited to: classification codes not consistent with duties normally associated with the employer’s type of business, for example, a construction company that reports mainly clerical classifications payroll information on the insurance application inconsistent with payroll reported to the Workforce Commission, much larger premium paid for the previous year’s policy small payroll reported by a large company or employee leasing company frequent addition and cancellation of coverage, especially if several business entities appear to be owned or controlled by the same person or group. Employee fraud indicators include but are not limited to; injuries that have no witness other than the worker, injuries occurring late Friday or early Monday, injuries not reported until a week or more after they occur, injuries occurring before a strike or holiday, or in anticipation of lay off or termination, injuries occurring where the worker would not usually work, injuries not usually occurring in the particular job description, for example, a secretary injured when lifting a heavy object, worker observed in activities inconsistent with the reported injury, worker history of workers compensation claims, conflicting diagnosis from subsequent treating doctors, any evidence of working elsewhere while drawing benefits. Attorney/health care provider fraud indicators include; receiving bills or explanation of benefits for services from health care providers, insurers or attorneys that seem unnecessary or fictitious boilerplate medical reports, or reports that are merely copies of previously submitted reports, treatment dates on holidays for non-emergency situations, bills from a health care provider or attorney that present an unreasonable amount of hours per day, complaints from the worker that the attorney is (never) available although the attorney files fee affidavits for services, attorney relationship with a health care provider that appears to be a partnership in handling workers’ compensation claims. Choosing The Perfect Diet Program

By Alberto Martinez Miller Choosing the right diet can be difficult, especially because there are so many diet programs available today. In addition to the traditional low-calorie diet, many new diets have entered the market, including the low-carb diet, meal replacement plans and a wide variety of weight loss supplements. Which one is right for you? Because each body works differently, you will have to try a few diets before you find one that works perfectly for you. Low Carb Diets In the last few years, the low-carb diet has made a big splash in the weight loss industry. In a program like the Atkins diet, you limit your carbohydrate intake and increase the amount of protein you consume. This means cutting out foods like potatoes, bread and pasta. However, the low-carb diet has raised a few eyebrows because of it’s laxity in fat consumption. Newer diets, like the South Beach Diet, have come to market with ideas of choosing healthy carbs and combining them with lean meats and an array of vegetables. Balanced Eating Programs Some diet programs promote balanced eating that follows closely with the low-calorie, low-fat diet. In diets such as the Zone and the Mediterranean Diet, most of your calories come from carbohydrates and the rest is divided between fats and protein. In this type of diet, you can expect to eat lots of fruits, vegetables and bread products, while limiting saturated fats. These diets are normally approved by the American Heart Association and model the food pyramid more closely than do most other types of diets. Food and Calorie Shifting Programs Newer to the market, diet programs like new secret diet utilize a unique eating technique to burn off excess weight. This new secret diet works by tricking your body and its metabolism. Because your body has no idea what you’ll be eating the next day or the amount of calories you’ll consume, it bases its metabolism on your eating habits of the last couple of days. Just when your body expects the same types of food that you’ve had in previous days, you shock your metabolism by fueling your body with foods and calories that your body wasn’t expecting. In this way, you almost trick your body into burning unwanted fat. With a program like this new secret diet, you must follow a food list and change your menu as directed. You should speak to your doctor about the types of diets available and which one is best for you. When you find a new diet you’d like to try, contact your physician for help and answers to your questions. Sometimes, it takes a few tries to find the perfect one, but keep going you’re worth the effort! Alberto Martinez Miller. Garage Floor Mats

By Alison Cole Garage floor mats are just what you need to keep your garage floor clean. The protection provided by these mats keeps your garage, shop or basement floor looking as good as new. Durable garage floor mats have a tough non-porous PVC surface that is specially formulated to protect against oil spills, salt and common contaminants found on garage and shop floors. Due to the raised plastic edges and the heavy-duty material that the surface is made of, these mats hold gallons of liquid-oil, coolant, water and mud. This surface prevents slush from spreading onto the garage floor. Garage floor mats are a convenient substitute to scrubbing, cleaning or refinishing your garage floor. They catch the mud, slush and grime that falls off your vehicle. These mats keep your garage floor clean and eliminate the problem of tracking dirt from your garage into your home. These mats also keep your garage and home safe by keeping all of your walk areas dry. Garage floor mats come in diamond-trend and coin grade patterns that direct debris out of your garage. In addition to being easy to cut and install, these pads provide a soft feel, neat look and fresh smell throughout your garage, basement or shop floor. Most garage floor mats are made of durable PVC floor coverings. The butt or overlap material gives a seamless wall-to-wall look. Specially formulated, heavy-duty, installer-grade material is used to make garage mats very effective. The diamond tread pattern is a popular tread plate design often found on metal tool boxes, truck bumpers, garage storage cabinets, and some metal ramps. This patterned flooring is offered in specially formulated, heavy-duty, installer-grade material. It is made up of solid polyvinyl and has the same resistance throughout the entire product, from top to bottom. Owing to this, it is solid and more durable to drive and walk on. Garage floor mats are undoubtedly a perfect solution to dripping oil, coolants and other liquids that soil garage floors. Mats provides detailed information on Mats, Floor Mats, Yoga Mats, Car Floor Mats and more. Mats is affiliated with Feather Masks. The Simpler the Weight Loss Formula is, The Better it Will Be

By Kenny Yong The best weight loss formula can be simple yet as effective as those that you have to pay a lot of cash for. Because of the marketing that many weight loss formula have been getting, persons who want to lose weight has already forgotten that there are some age-old solutions that still works. If you want to get rid of that excess weight without spending some hard earned money in the process, below are some simple formulas for losing weight without the hype and without the prejudice. 1. Have an objective. Set your own desired weight. Then you can set the time when you want that weight attained. This will serve as the objective you will achieve. It is always good to write about these objectives and place it some place where you will be able to see them everyday. It will be a constant reminder to you once you start forgetting about your strict diet. 2. Look for someone with the same objective. It is great to have someone who will support you in your endeavors. Find someone with the same desire to lose weight. That someone should also be looking for a weight loss that will work for the same goal. It is always a great idea to start comparing notes regarding the diet and the steps you are both taking in order to lose weight. You both can also try and test some weight loss formulas and see which ones will be effective most. 3. Taking it slowly but surely. Take note of the food you are eating. Reduce the usual fatty foods that you enjoy so much. Exercise for a few minutes a day. Shift sway from your old habits. Remember losing weight is not an overnight thing. So do not expect changes to happen quickly. These things take time. It is better to take things slowly so you can be sure of the good results. 4. Do not skip breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Take note that your calorie or fat intake will get burned during the day. Besides, you will need all the energy you can get to be able to survive the activities of the day.
